I ran the webinar programme at Soda

I start with the audience: who they are and what they are trying to learn, because that decides the topic. Then I prepare the host — the angle, the slides, the demo — so the speaker only has to speak.

In the weeks before, I bring people in with a landing page, an email sequence and LinkedIn posts. On the day I host the event myself, and the recording keeps working as a content piece afterwards.

When it is over I hand the registrant list to the sales team, so they can turn it into opportunities.

A product demo I recorded for Soda: managing an incident, start to finish. This is the kind of thing I want to do more of — I’m open to DevRel, technical writing and developer-education roles.
